The foam floor is one of the essential elements for the installation of your Smartice rink. Prior to connecting the synthetic ice panels, the foam floor should be spread over the surface, which is fundamental for:
- achieving a level surface (always when the floor has no more than a 2% slope)
- properly maintain the underside of the panels for future use (Smartice panels can be used on both sides)
- reducing noise
- lessen the impact of falls
- ease the installation process as the panels slide easily on the foam underlay
The number of foam rolls will be determined by the dimensions of the ice rink in your Smartice rink pack.
